London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week (and its trailing Weekend event), one of the Big Four alongside New York, Milan and Paris takes place twice a year (February and September). Alternative Fashion Week

This is unlike any other fashion week. It is an event established for young, talented new designers to showcase their work to thousands of viewers. Sixty original and innovative designers are selected to flaunt their designs with world wide press and media coverage and attracting audiences of 10,000 people with fifteen shows per day. The fashion shows take place daily during fashion week with fourteen designers being exhibited per show. There is also a Fashion Market throughout the day with a wide range of clothes, textiles and accessories. This year designers from all over the world will be exhibiting their authentic pieces at Spitafields Traders Market, London during April.

POP! Culture and Fashion

POP explores the impact of music and art on the development of fashion from July to October 2012, POP will host an exhibition in the Fashion and Textile Museum in London City, promising to be an exceptional treat for fashion enthusiasts.
