Olympic Park
The main sites for the games will be in the new Olympic Park in Stratford in the East End, set to be renamed after Queen Elizabeth II after the Olympics in honour of her Diamond Jubilee. The park will host the 80,000-seat Olympic Stadium as well as an Aquatic Centre, Hockey Centre, Basketball Arena, Handball Arena, The London Velopark and the Olympic Village.

How to get there:
Olympic Javelin - The new high-speed rail service will reach the Park in 7 minutes from central London by 10 separate railway lines with a huge capacity.
National Rail - Services will run from London Liverpool Street to Stratford.
London Underground - London to Stratford on the Jubilee and Central lines, or London to West Ham on the District and Hammersmith & City lines.
Docklands Light Railway (DLR) - served by two lines of the DLR, which stops at Stratford, Stratford International and West Ham stations, from Lewisham and Woolwich Arsenal stations in south-east London.
London Overground - The North London Line connects Richmond to Stratford and avoids central London.
Park-and-ride sites - regular shuttle-bus services will run directly to the Olympic Park, but must be booked in advance.
